This position offers you the opportunity to combine your nursing skills and your managerial skills! This job requires a person who is comfortable leading the branch’s home care team, both through direction and by example.

Responsibilities:

• Planning, organizing, directing and evaluating patient care activities
• Managing the home care team members
• Ensuring the high-quality care is provided to all home care patients
• Monitoring risk management activities
• Participating in community relations for the agency
• Serve as proxy for the Branch Manager when necessary

Requirements:

 ​

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• At least 3 years of experience in general nursing
• One year of home health nursing experience
• Current Tennessee registered nurse license
• Knowledge of Medicare home health guidelines
• Willingness to work in home environments of patients who may have values or standards different from your own
• Ability to turn, lift, carry and otherwise transport patient
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
• Respecting the patient’s privacy and maintaining confidentiality
• Current Tennessee driver’s license and automobile liability insurance
• CPR Certification
